Complete with not one but three lower-class gimmicks (a "business in the front" mullet notice, Elvis iconography, and a six-hole mini-golf course), the Bushwick Country Club makes no bones about its plea for your ironic dollar. But what it loses in wink-wink factor it makes up for in stuff --this is a bar with Megatouch XL ("the titty game," one Karen O-lookalike patron says as I start in), a photo booth, a well-stocked jukebox (Scorpions, Police, Violent Femmes, no rap), couches and real putt-putt out back. Dedicated patrons can become actual members of the Country Club and reap the associated drink discounts; non-members will be paying market rate for mixed drinks and PBRs. A decent country club best enjoyed by its dedicated patrons.
